This project is a fan-made poster inspired by Solo Leveling: Arise, one of the most popular manhwa-to-anime adaptations. The design aims to capture the dark, mysterious, and powerful aura of the series while staying true to its iconic visual identity.
1. Concept & Inspiration
The poster revolves around the idea of transformation—mirroring the journey of Sung Jinwoo from the weakest hunter to the strongest being. The dark color palette and sharp contrasts emphasize intensity, while the haunting character illustration conveys dominance and fear.
2. Design Process
Experimented with gritty textures and glitch-inspired overlays to create a raw, otherworldly vibe.
Used sharp typography to highlight the series title Solo Leveling, integrating fantasy-style flourishes for authenticity.
Positioned key quotes (“I was once the weakest… But now, I level up alone!”) to reinforce the narrative essence of the character.
Balanced the composition to ensure the focal point remained on the central figure, while adding depth through layered shadows and highlights.
